The Document Is There… Somewhere in the System
A request comes in for an old file.
Someone remembers seeing it “a while ago.”
An email is checked first. Then a shared folder. Then a drive that hasn’t been opened in months. Then a second folder with a similar name.
The search continues quietly in the background while other work moves on.
In many workplaces across the Middle East and Africa, information flows through multiple storage points every day—emails, scanned copies, shared links, and internal folders.
Most of the time, everything is stored correctly. The challenge is simply retracing where it was placed.
And usually, the moment something is needed urgently is when the search begins.
